My birthday isn't for another month and a half but he loves me! I've been wanting to use the berries and fruit from the farm in a delicious smoothie but our blender broke a few months ago. Well, after enough complaining this showed up one day...because he loves me!

Beach bound
Up until 11:00 last night packing every last detail for this weekends adventures. Our first camping trip of the summer! We are headed to the coast to escape this dreaded heat. At night we go outside to cool off. How sad is that?
Today one of my sweet older co-workers was cleaning out her desk, preparing for a big move across the room and found these two toys. She have them to me for Sol and Bug. It was very thoughtful of her and will keep them busy while camping.

Blessed life
This morning I had the chance to sit (just sit there) and watch my kids play. Aside from the hurry, busy life we normally lead. It was wonderful and relaxing and wonderful ( did I say it was wonderful?). Bug looks up to her brother so much, just like she is in this picture. I love my kids. We live such a blessed life.

Sol-isms
More lately than ever, I've been listening closely to the funny things that come out of my 3 year olds mouth. Mr. Mendoza said last night "he's only going to be 3 once" after I said I need I start writing down the Sol-isms. So here are a few from last night-
*I farted in the pool mom! I farted twice!
*Mom, you have big legs (as he's shaking my thighs). You have a big butt mom.
I love him.

Mickey Mouse picnic
I realized I never published this post! Here you go..
What is more appropriate on a nice sunny day, than having a picnic with Mickey Mouse? Not just one Mickey, but two! Small Mickey and Big Mickey.
Of course mickey needs to be burped like baby sister does after he eats :-)
May 2013
The month of May has presented us with the 2nd biggest blessings we could ever ask for, our baby girl Liliana.
Here is our last picture as a family of three, just before heading to the hospital to be induced.
Here's a little bit of my birth story (I'll spare you some of the details!)
I'd like to think that I have gotten fairly lucky with both of my pregnancy/deliveries. With Sol, my Dr ended up being out of town when I went into Labor, so an on call Dr ended up delivering him.
This time around, it almost happened again, but I really wanted her there so I was induced 4 days prior to my due date.
We went into the hospital at 12:00 on Thursday 5/9/13 and they gave me a pill to soften my cervix. The next 5 hours consisted of absolutly nothing but resting and watching TV with absolutly no action...I was kind of bummed. Doc came in and broke my water at 5:00 and almost immediately contractions started. My Dr is hilarious. After she broke my water, she said she had to run to the store and go grocery shopping and she would be back shortly...and sure enough, she did. I dont think I was in real active labor until about 6:30. Knowing my almost non existant pain tolerance, I knew I would need an epidural. I tried my hardest to tolerate the contractions but wasnt able too for much longer. After many tears, the relief came at 7:00 . The epidural didn't take as well as the one did with Sol, so I still felt some of the contractions and pain! The Dr was in her normal clothes and I was so worried i would get her all messy. The minute I felt like I needed to push, I told her she needed to get a gown on....I pushed 3 times and baby girl was here. 9:34 pm weighing in at 6lbs 14oz and 18.5 inches long....with a full head of dark hair!
Sol is adjusting quite well to being a big brother. He loves his baby sister so much!
Daddy being a creeper in the background....
Little miss Frowny...
Sol love to go to the "duck park"...aka, Alton Baker.
He has so much love in his little heart for this girl.

Vacation!
WOW, I suck at blogging. It's been almost a year. Actually, I attempted to do a large post a while back, but then my internet froze and I lost it all...so I was on blogging hiatus for a while.
This past year we have done alot and had some life changing events occur.
September 2012- We went to California on vacation and Sophi and her friend Sarah came along. We spent some time at the beaches and took Sol to Disneyland/California Adventure for the first time to meet his idol Mimmie Mouse!...aka Mickey.
We also had the opportunity to visit some family that Luis hasn't seen in years! This is his Tia Leti, cousin Amy and her son. They live near Anaheim, so we were able to spend quite a bit of time with them.
We also had the privlage of driving down to San Diego to meet up with our long lost friends, the Penhallegons! Baby Quincy was just a few weeks old.
We also found out that the reason I felt so nauseaus on our vacation wasn't just because of the heat....we were expecting out little girl in 2013!
